  • Course/workshop details: purchases/enrolments, access status, participation (where applicable)
  • Communications: messages you send via WhatsApp, forms, email, or other channels
  • User submissions and participation media: assignments, recitations, voice recordings, chanting videos, photographs, screenshots, testimonials, and feedback you share for course delivery, review, assessment, community participation, or support

B) Payments and billing

Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers. We typically receive transaction status and basic order details (such as order ID, amount, name, and contact details), but we do not store full card or bank credentials on our servers.

C) Information collected automatically (website/app)

When you visit our website or use our services, we may collect:

  • Device and browser details, IP address, and approximate location (city/region)
  • Pages viewed, clicks, referring URLs, and session/activity logs
  • Cookie identifiers and analytics events for performance measurement and improvement

D) Children and course participation media

For Bāla Saṁskāra and other child-focused programs, we may collect the child’s name, age, voice recording, chanting video, and relevant participation details. Registration and consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian. Similar voice, video, photographic, or participation materials may also be collected from adult learners where needed for course delivery, feedback, assessment, community sessions, or support.

Health and wellness information (special note)

Some of our Ayurveda and wellness programs may invite you to voluntarily share information such as body type, diet, menstrual health, or men’s health. We use this information only to deliver the program you opted into, respond to your request, or provide relevant educational support. Nirvana Academy does not use this information for medical diagnosis or treatment. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal or health information in public comments, groups, or community discussions.

With separate and specific consent, Nirvana Academy may use selected course or workshop clips, photographs, voice recordings, chanting videos, testimonials, or screenshots featuring adult learners on our official website and social-media channels. For a child participant, separate consent from a parent or legal guardian is required. Choosing not to provide promotional consent will not affect access to the course or workshop.
